Making a purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the Shopping Cart. After you have finished your selection, click on ‘Checkout’ and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the Shopping Cart, contact us so we can correct the mistake.

When you receive confirmation of your order, this is to indicate that we have also received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.


Items may appear with £0.00. This is when the manufacturer has not yet released a recommended retail price (RRP) for that product. As soon as we receive this it will be updated on our website and you will be informed via an email of the price for that item if you have pre-ordered it.

All pre-ordered items have estimated prices and release dates for which are subject to change. We will do our best to notify you of any changes to your pre-order purchases.


We only charge for items when they are shipped (unless PayPal is used, in which case the full amount will be charged at the time of ordering). However, we will obtain authorisation from your card issuer for the full order amount when the order is initially placed. We accept card payments by Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Delta please note Paypal has now been taken off of the website which will enable me to make products cheaper to you the customer if you would like to pay via paypal i can take payments via the friends and family option or add the fees to the final transaction cost if you would like to do this then please email me at Leighjcollett@hotmail.com



Items pre-ordered have 2 payment options you can pay a small deposit or you can pay in full please note even though it is a pre order if you click pay in full this amount will be taken from you bank on the day you order through the website If your order includes pre-order items (those that are currently not in stock) then the following will apply:

  • Items in stock will be shipped immediately (orders including items shown as expected 2-3 days will be held until all those items are in stock and then shipped).
  • If your order includes other pre-order items, these items will be dispatched as they become available. Shipping will be charged at our normal rate on each dispatch.
  • Occasionally, at our discretion, we may hold products until others are in stock to minimise the shipping costs.

We aim to dispatch your order within 24-hours. However, this may be longer at busy times. If you need the item urgently please select a priority shipping option. If you require any help, please call us and we will do what we can to assist. Unless otherwise agreed, items are sent via our Courier.

Overseas items are sent via either Airmail or Surface Mail for items under 1.8Kg. Items over this weight will be delivered via courier. The website will show an estimated shipping cost, please be aware that pre-orders will be charged shipping for each dispatch. We reserve the right to restrict shipping on certain items and to certain destinations.

You must inform us within two (2) working days from receipt if the goods are damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.

For lost items sent via Royal Mail within the UK, claims can only be investigated 28 days after dispatch and must be made in writing within 40 days of dispatch. In the case of lost items sent via Airmail, claims can only be investigated 40 days after dispatch and must be made in writing within 50 days of dispatch.

You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.

For items shipped by Courier, you must notify us if the item does not arrive by the delivery day stated on your dispatch email. Failure to do so may result in a further delivery charge being made to your account. Items not accepted or items that cannot be delivered will have a return charge applied.


Deposits /Payment Scheme & Loyalty Gift Vouchers

The Colletts payment scheme is set over one of 2 options. Pay in full, or pay a deposit  Any postage costs must be paid upfront with any payment scheme. Please note, that any order must be fully paid for, including pre-orders, before that item is shipped and delivered. If there is a price change on a pre-order, you will be charged the difference OR refunded the difference, this is due to suppliers not always giving us correct pricing. Any price change for in-stock items, after a payment plan has been created, will mean that the original price will be honoured.

By entering into a payment plan means, we will hold back your chosen item till it is shipped OR reserve one on a pre-order list with the supplier. In the event that any pre-order cannot be shipped due to suppliers not being able to keep with demand, will be issued a full refund OR credit in the form of a coupon code that you can spend on other items.

Please choose a payment period that is affordable to you and that you can afford. Please also choose a payment plan that will enable you to receive your item by the release date OR date you need it.

You must have a valid email address as we will email you a new payment reminder once every month. It is your responsibility to check payments are made. You can check the status of any order in MY ACCOUNT area of the website.

Gift vouchers earned through pre ordering can only be used once the item they earned them from has arrived in stock and has been paid for the voucher can then be used off there next purchase to redeem this voucher you will have to ring the shop on 01395-224608 and speak to leigh who will have any earned vouchers kept on record  


Any bids made on the Auction must be made from an account with a verified email address and correct details. All winning bids are final and must be paid for in full before the product is shipped. Winning bids will have 7 days in order to complete the sale.

We reserve the right to set a reserve on all items listed in the auction and refuse a sale if the reserve is not met. We also hold the right to cancel any live auction without notice for reasons similar to, but not exclusive to, running out of stock or not being able to fulfil the order.

Goods are shipped via the Royal Mail First Class Recorded Mail and our Couriers, although we reserve the right to use any carrier or service. Items that are returned to us will be charged a return to sender fee of £24 (within the UK mainland) plus an additional re-delivery charge. Liability for the failure of next day delivery is limited to the difference paid between next day and standard service.


We guarantee your satisfaction. All of our products come with a manufacturers guarantee.


Except for special orders, goods purchased from us may be returned within ten (10) days of receipt for a refund, providing you have notified us in writing of your intention to return items in person, by post or by e-mail within these ten days. The goods must be returned to the above address and the cost of packing and returning any goods will be at the customer’s expense. A handling charge may be levied to cover our outbound shipping costs.

Faulity or damaged goods

Please use a suitable service when returning goods, as we cannot be held responsible for any returned goods lost in transit. We must receive goods within 14 days of receipt, and any goods returned must be received by us in the condition they were received by the customer. Sealed boxes and packages such as plastic or metal kits must be unopened, clear bags with header cards must be intact, goods will only be refunded if they are in the condition that they were received. A full refund will be made within 28 days of the goods being received back by us, less any carriage charge if delivery was outside the UK This condition does not affect your rights on the return of faulty goods.We will refund you the postage you orginally paid when you return a faulity product to us to help cover all or most of that cost

Remittance Terms

Payment for the goods and delivery charges can be made by any method shown on the Supplier´s website at the time you place your order. Payment shall be due before the delivery date and time for payment shall be a fundamental term of this agreement, breach of which shall entitle the Supplier to terminate the contract immediately.

There will be no delivery until cleared funds are received.

Payments shall be made by you without any deduction whatsoever unless you have a valid court order requiring an amount equal to such deduction to be paid by the Supplier to you.

We do not take payment until the items are in stock and ready for dispatch, however, we will authorise the full order amount at the time of the order being placed.  If the order has been paid for with PayPal the full order amount will be taken at the time of placing the order.If the item was free postage then you will be automatically refunded the standard postage charge of £4.50
