USAAF C-47 Skytrain, ca.1943/44.
Legendary WWII military transport aircraft derived from the Douglas DC-3 commercial airliner. It was used extensively by the Allies during World War II and remained in service for many years after the war. Known as the Dakota by the Royal Air Force.
